Study opportunities in Europe
The Euro-Croatian Education-Information Centre (ECEIC) is a part of the Institute for the Development of Education (IDE) which provides information and advising on higher education opportunities in Croatia and other European countries.
IDE provides information and advising on education opportunities in Europe by referring visitors to relevant institutions in higher education in individual European states through which they can learn more about their particular educational systems, universities, study programmes and search engines, as well as about potential financial aid sources available to Croatian students.

The Euro-Croatian Education-Information Centre provides the following resources and services:

- Higher Education in Europe (in Croatian only)
As an online information resource to help you in your search, IDE has collected useful web links of institutions, umbrella organisations, associations, networks and web portals related to higher education in Europe. The section contains group overviews of higher education systems of European countries, as well as general information on higher education in Europe.
- Higher Education in Individual European Countries (in Croatian only)
As an online information resource to help you in your search, IDE has collected useful web links of umbrella institutions involved in higher education in individual European countries, which can provide more information on the higher education systems and study options in individual European countries, as well as universities, study programmes, and financial aid opportunities.
- Academic Info-Service
The Academic Info-Service provides news, information and resources in the area of higher education. The subsections, such as “Events in Croatia”, “Employment and Internships”, and “Calls for Papers”, contain up-to-date information and competitions related to higher education opportunities for Croatian citizens in European countries.
- Handbook “Right to Education: Higher Education in Croatia and Europe” (in Croatian only)
The handbook “Right to Education: Higher Education in Croatia and Europe” was published in 2005 as part of the project “Strengthening Democratic Principles in Croatian Higher Education to Lead Croatia into a Europe of Knowledge”.
It provides basic information on the human rights to/in education, as well as an overview of the mechanisms that enable their realisation. It also contains a detailed overview of institutions in higher education in Croatia and other European countries, as well as a list of Internet resources with relevant information on higher education in Croatia and Europe.
