General information:
The two week summer school is organized by the University of Graz in cooperation with the Diocese Graz-Seckau and the Commission of the Bishops' Conferences of the European Community (COMECE). Students will concentrate on the topic "European Cultures: The Challenge of Diversity and Unity". For two weeks, internationally renowned experts will be at the students' disposal in order to disseminate specialized knowledge and stimulate discussions in lectures and seminars (Law & Politics, Economy & Innovation, History & Power, Society & Culture, Ethics & Religion, Media & Communication). In this international environment, students will be trained to understand and discuss dimensions of Europe beyond the European Union.
Costs:
€ 400 (full fee)
€ 250 (reduced fee for students from Eastern or South-Eastern Europe)
Please include the following documents in your application:
* application form with passport size photograph
* curriculum vitae (CV)
* one short essay regarding your motivation (written by yourself)
* 2 letters of recommendation (written and signed by two different university teachers)
* copies of certificates/diplomas or at least an academic transcript
* proof of enrollment at your home university
* copy of relevant pages from passport (page with data and picture, and page with visa if necessary)
