This is what you will hear, see, feel and experience when you are a student at Huron University in London. We are an International American University offering undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in central London.
With over 55 nationalities from all over the world studying with us, you will get the opportunity to prosper in a flexible American Liberal Arts system in an excellent global setting. We are located in Russell Square, which is in the heart of the Bloomsbury district and London’s academia centre.
Due to our ideal location, Huron students have access to great parks and gardens, restaurants, shopping, nightlife, theatres, libraries, and convenient public transportation. The British Museum is within a 3 minute walk away, and students have access to the University of London’s Senate House Library and Student Union, which includes student lounges, shops, cafeteria, and a fitness centre hosting the largest swimming pool in central London. Right across the street from there is Waterstones, the largest UK retailing bookstore, which has its academic branch, another convenience for students.
With a small student population of around 300 enrolled, Huron students benefit from smaller classes and more personal attention from faculty and staff than may be found at larger institutions. Huron is a friendly place where faculty and staff are always willing to help and make you feel welcomed at our university. Our Internship Office will assist students in finding internship opportunities in London, which can be important for career development and employment.

In addition to the above, Huron offers its own English Language Development Programme (ELDP), for students who have not yet reached minimum requirements for either the IELTS or TOEFL test scores at time of enrolment. This will enable these students to improve their English skills while pursing their degree.
Recently all masters degree programmes were approved for validation from Coventry University (UK), giving students the option to earn both a US and UK postgraduate degree. Huron University’s Provost Bruce Stanley said: “This represents an exciting phase in Huron’s growth as it continues to provide students a transforming experience that will enable them to shape the rapidly evolving global future.”
Huron’s own student housing accommodation at Byng Place is located only 7 minutes from the main campus and enables students to live with other students from many diverse cultural backgrounds. It is the place where friendships are formed and last a lifetime. The residence halls are self-catering and are equipped with kitchen and laundry facilities, televisions and computers with internet connections. A Resident Assistant (RA) lives on the premises to help, guide, and support student residents feel welcomed to their new surroundings and city.
